Shift: Sunday-Thursday; Sun (4pm-12midnight) and Mon-Thur (11am-7pm)

10% travel using own transportation

Responsibilities:
-Primary contact for data center tasks such as the coordination of physical server installs, cabling infrastructure, electrical circuit requests and removal of decommissioned hardware while maintaining optimal site performance.
-Document and troubleshoot network related issues.

Requirements:
-Strong technical understanding of data center operations and infrastructure management
-Must be capable of lifting or transporting hardware weighing up to 40 pounds.
-Proficient with MS Office, MS Project and MS Visio.
-Capable of terminating and managing structured cabling (ANSI, TIA,EIA, ETSI).
-Basic understanding of single and multi mode fiber optic media standards
-Data Center experience a plus but not necessary
-Ability to learn quickly
-Strong organizational and problem solving skills a MUST
-Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely
-Must be able to multi –task and shift gears easily without becoming overwhelmed.
-Must be a team player and work well within a team or on your own (references will be contacted)
-Some College credits preferred or experience equivalent.
